Possible reasons why our economy is failing:
1. No standard for wealth distribution (a democracy cannot function if 75% of its wealth is controled by less than 5% of the population)
2. Goods and servives over priced. We pay more for less and the cost of goods have outpaced our earnings.
3. Technology has been used as an excuse to justify price increases, despite it (enabling more economical parts, rapid production, and decrease in required line workers) less costly effects.

You cant take money away from people and distribute it to the massess and say that its going to stablize the economy! # 2, I agree with! to many laxed taxes on imports has increased our trade deficit and is contributing to our bad economy! #3 has also lead to the collapse of our industrial base, therefore killing jobs and the taxes that are collected!
