Now there are LED light bulbs. Very expensive now, but highly energy frugal and no disposal issues. They last an estimated 20 years too. Most likely will get cheaper to buy over time.

he didn't know why the one cell being shaded causes the string to go out in the begining there. Isn't that because of the diodes in the cells that are meant to block voltage from the batteries when not being used? I'm just guessing, but if I'm wrong, I'd like to know. Thanks for sharing the video.

My electric Bill hovers around $300 a month in Illinois and i would like to pocket that money. Imo Solar Panels are along the lines of renovating & renting houses. It's an investment.. that you will see a HUGE return on + independency.
