A year ago US President Barack Obama signed his landmark stimulus bill with the goal of creating jobs. Despite the official data that shows a fall in unemployment, a much broader survey of employers shows that payrolls were actually reduced by 20,000 jobs in January. The modest job creation proposals coming from the White House and Congress won't do much to create the 11 million jobs that are necessary to restore US employment to pre-recession levels.

1st off, all of the stimulus money hasn't been sent out yet, in fact, most of it hasn't been sent out yet. It is expected to be distributed this year. 2ndly, unemployment is a LAGGING indicator. The economy grew at 6% white unemployment dropped to 9.7%. In a few more months, you'll see unemployment down well under 9%.
What I find funny is why doesn't RT talk about Russia's unemployment rate which is just as high as the US, but is PERMANENTLY on that level.

Why hasn't the stimulus program not worked? Because when you steal peoples money, deflate the value of the dollar by printing counterfeit money. People are not amused. Government creates nothing, nothing.

Do you think that your country would admit that billions of dollars thrown at an irresponsible party didn't work? Of course not, your economic growth is probably a lie to make sure you don't go apeshit over something that was supposed to work. If they wanted to honestly get out of the mess they are in, they could have implemented FDRs bank restrictions to prevent a further mess, which your banks are still doing. Hey chicago!!! thats me!!! LEE tell them how shitty it is out here!!!! Every job you apply for there is about a thousand people applying for the same thing...The unemployment office is so crowded you wonder who the hell is working...They need to create 100,000 jobs a month for a year to get us back!!! They got 3 million people unemployed or more and they are thinking about extending the benefits but congress doesn't know and has done nothing! No I don't feel i'm better off!!

we had those capabilities for a few years now. It's just how we can incorporate machines, and robotics to manufacture everything we have.
It's not Jobs people want, it's to have access to the best available good or service without a price tag.

@vampin6 You might be on to something here, for example if they ( assuming u r referring to world elite) see all this unemployment, (useless feeders they call us), and the GDP still growing they the fatter cats, come to the conclusion this cheap labor force not needed, as you say they will thin us out either a made up war /draft, or with an unpredictable outcome engineer a plague, kill off millions very possible, i doubt the camp scenario, they would not risk a revolt.
